Zakopane in Winter

Zakopane, often referred to as the “Winter Capital of Poland”, is one of the country’s most popular mountain resorts. Located just 110 kilometres south of Krakow, it offers breathtaking views of the Tatra Mountains, unique wooden architecture, and a vibrant local culture. During your visit, you can stroll along Krupówki, Zakopane’s famous pedestrian street, take a funicular ride to the top of Gubałówka Hill for spectacular mountain views, and taste traditional local cheese, including the famous smoked oscypek.
